Re-makes and Predictions
Why are almost all of the directors re-making old films? Where has the talent gone? I mean with the re-make of Halloween 1 & 2, Nightmare on Elm Street, and many more, it's becoming tired. I'm tired of seeing movies being re-made and they aren't even better than the original. Not only are the movies being re-made but they're so predictive. I'm tired of every movie I watch, I know the outcome. Don't get me wrong there are films that I enjoy but there are even more that I can predict the outcome of the movie. Does anybody agree or do you think I'm hating. Let me know!

I completely agree, my fellow classmate, however my question to you is... What Do You Plan To Do About It? We all know we can spend HOURS (literally) going on the lack of creativity plaguing the movie industry. We as the future of our industry need to start getting serious about revolutionizing it. And in order for us to do that, we have to do more than just blog about it. So I encourage you (as well as myself and the rest of our classmates) to learn all we can in this program, because the time is coming for new faces with new directions...
ReplyDeleteThat is a good question. Well first I should say I don't want to remake films, I want to entertain people but also want to teach them and open their eyes to the issues that people go through everyday. Whether it is a woman, man, child, black, white, all people.
